Howdy everypony!

Well I just recently began recovering from a severe case of strep throat that knocked me out for the past week. On top of that, my personal computer died on me and I'm now a week behind on all of my classwork for college.

And on top of that - it's looking very likely that my next pony animation, "Double Rainboom", will have to be shut down. Here's the situation:

I finished writing the screenplay for the short about three weeks ago and realized that it was going to be a bigger animation than I had originally planned (a good 15-18 minutes long). So I decided to dedicate my upcoming Spring & Summer Quarter classes of SCAD entirely to it - putting together a crew of animators and sound designers - and approaching it professionally as a studio would.

The problem is that since this project has become so large, I'm required to have written permission from either Hasbro or DHX Media Vancouver that says it's alright for me to use their characters - otherwise my college will not allow me to use their resources (such as other students or their computers). However, I've tried  contacting DHX Media via email and have received no response back - and if I don't get written permission before next quarter starts (March 26th) then I'll be forced to abandon the project altogether and say goodbye to ponies permanently (aside from my storybook).

:nuu:

So if anyone has any good ideas for how to get written permission from either DHX Media or Hasbro, please let me know asap! I really want to make this animation for you bronies - and so far the preproduction material has it looking amazing!

I know this maybe something you may or may not have done, but have you tried asking :iconfyre-flye:? I mean I know shes no longer part of the show anymore, but wouldn't she have experience in this type of situation?
