I'm currently a student at the Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, Georgia (USA). My major is Animation and my minor is Storyboarding. I've still got about a year and half to go before I graduate, so I've decided to work on some other personal projects in the meantime.

My main focus for DeviantArt will be my experiments with Adobe Flash using characters from the popular television series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. These experiments are currently divided into two parts, the first being illustrative/background training through my ongoing storybook The Ballad of Mecha Pinkie Pie. The second being short animations featuring different characters from the show to teach me puppet animation. So far I've released one animation, Present Prank, with the second one, Double Rainboom, the first-ever fan-made episode, scheduled for release this Fall.

I'm 25 years old, and my ultimate dream is to write & direct my very own animated television series! My Senior Film is actually going to be a pilot of the first series that I plan to pitch (but I'm still nine months away from starting that).

Will you release an [Audio Only] of the episode? One containing BGM and sound effects, one containing only the Background Music, and one only with the sound effects.

Along with other extras such as Voice Acting only, storyboards and animatics ?

I hope you're gonna add the actual MLP intro in this fanmade episode of yours. I hope the credits at the end will have the look and feel of the real MLP credits shown at the end.

Also, I notice that MLP usually focuses on what aspect ratio an international TV station will broadcast. Almost all broadcasting stations around the world (including The Hub in the US) that's airing the show usually letterboxes the show onto older TVs, while a few stations (like Karusel in Russia) usually panscans (broadcasted within the widescreen aspect ratio, turning into a fullscreen broadcast, causing image loss on the sides) the show instead.

How would you feel if your fanmade episode were to be broadcast in any TV station that panscans content onto older TVs?

A decision regarding whether or not to use the acutal MLP intro/credits has yet to be made - but right now we're leaning towards not doing that. We want to be as original as we can be - and honestly I'm not sure that I'm allowed to use the actual intro. We'll see . . .

As far as aspect ratio goes - it'll be 16:9 (1920x1080) for widescreen - but we'll be paying attention to TV Cut Off Lines in case somepony has an older TV/Monitor.

Hey there :) I wanted to ask if you would be able to view my animation and give any critics for it so if there's anything you liked, didn't like that sort of stuff.

I'd understand if you're busy but I would be most grateful to have any critics from animators.

Ponies!!! I like ''Double Rainboom'' very much...but I don't know why...Isn't something very special...I simply LIKE IT! Very much! Is simply: AWESOME. I can't wait PART 2!!! But...The ballad of MECHA Pinkie Pie is....scary...and strange....and scary....
I talk sooo much sometimes...but sometimes I'm very shy....I'm a kind of......(puse for special effects)....FLUTTER PIE...or Pinkie Shy.....anyway, I like your drawings. Are awesome.

What are you gonna do for the ending credits?
Both the intro credits & the ending ones can't be too long, unless you put them both separately from the fan-animation video.
Some people might think the animation video is longer than it actually is.
Is the ending gonna contain more animation sequences, while the credits roll ?
